Our farmers work with us because we offer long term contracts with fixed price premiums. But it's more than that.
We support farmers wanting to adopt a more regenerative approach to managing their farm. We have a process that walks through creating a Regenerative Farm Plan, collecting baselines surveys through to implementation. And you'll be part of community on the same journey on their farms.
At the end we have a market for you to supply into with a better price and connection to the customer.
Each GrassRoots farm works to a bespoke Regenerative Plan with targets to improve their business and ecology across six core areas. Their farming methods evolve and adapt to achieve these targets.

INVESTING IN CHANGE.
GrassRoots was founded by three farmers so we know that farms have long business cycles. It takes three years from a cow becoming pregnant to having beef on the table. For this reason change is expensive and also risky. Investment often doesn't pay off for years.
That's why we work with farmers on back to back contracts with customers. In other words we agree terms with customers which we are then able to mirror with farmers. This enables meaningful investment to be made by farmers over a realistic period of time.
